Lisa Aerianna Tayerle, in addition to being a dear friend, is one helluva shamanic artist. She wanted a web site because the only link she had online to her name was her bio on the Amber Eyes and Connect DC sites.

Although the background texture was selected to invoke the quality of handmade paper, it still looks like someone's stylish bathroom tile. And my initial idea of using one her drawings in a flash animation ... well, lets just say it was faster to view the Connect DC mandala over dial up.... so the drawing is displayed with a color wash instead.

Besides, unless I was planning to do all the updates, there was no way Lisa could keep the site updated on her own.
